32. Goodness

Goodness is the being of a thing what it is, while it is at one with all other things.

Goodness, too, is the being seen of a thing as definite, or specific; and as at one with, or simply, as, all other things.

The world, seen as lacking definiteness or a specific or warm quality, would be so general, so without change, that it could not be felt at all. If it were seen only as specific or definite or limited, it would be seen as incomplete, imperfect, isolated.

When a thing can see itself the way the world is, it sees itself as good. To be good is to be, wholly.
