Haikus: Some Instances

Haiku of Retraction

I said this myself.

I heard it again from Him.

I never said it.

The Sunflower’s in League

A sunflower there

Is in league with cool, brisk brook

To which the sun comes.

You Can Watch

Sunflower begins.

Sometimes, a while, you can watch.

It, yourself, begins.

The Transforming Best

She liked that thing best.

What company it has, though!

Watch the best transform!

Seen

Apple, tomato

Walked down the fat road, redly,

In round friendship, Oh!

Invitation and Hope

Come see me, she said.

Yes, I don’t want to be seen.

See what you can do.

Honor

Whirling banana

High over green, lasting earth:

Yellow is honor.
